Game Mechanics
Understand how My Card Collection works. Learn about card leveling, stacking, income generation, and more.
🃏 Card Leveling System
One of the most important mechanics in My Card Collection is the card leveling system. When you pull a duplicate card, it doesn't take up a new slot. Instead, it automatically levels up your existing card.
- Automatic Leveling: Duplicate cards automatically merge and level up
- Increased MPS: Higher-level cards generate significantly more Money Per Second
- Space Efficient: Leveled cards take up only one slot regardless of level
- Visual Indicator: Card level is displayed on the card itself (e.g., Level 5, Level 10)
Example:
A Level 1 card might generate $38/second. When you get a duplicate, it becomes Level 2 and generates $78/second. This continues as you collect more duplicates.
💰 Money Per Second (MPS) & Collection
Every card generates passive income automatically. The amount depends on the card's rarity, level, and variant.
MPS Factors:
- Base card rarity (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Arch)
- Card level (higher level = more MPS)
- Card variant (Shiny, Gold, Rainbow)
- Multipliers from gamepasses (x2 up to x50)
Collection Methods:
- Manual Collection: You must manually click on the cards to collect the money they generate
- Stats Tracking: At the top of your base, you can see your total cards collected (e.g., 8/54) and your total income per second
- "Collect All" button: Requires Robux to unlock
- "Collect x10" button: Requires Robux to unlock
- Money pool collection
Important: Cards generate money automatically, but you must manually click them to collect. The game offers paid automation options, but manual clicking is free and effective for early game.
📦 How to Get and Open Packs
The primary way to progress is by purchasing card packs from the moving conveyor belt.
1. Buying Packs
Stand by the conveyor belt and purchase packs like the Leaf Pack or Water Pack as they pass by. Watch for "Shiny" versions of packs on the belt - they are more expensive but yield much more powerful cards.
2. Placing Packs
Open your inventory, equip the pack, and click on the floor to place it. You must place the purchased pack on your base floor first. You cannot open packs immediately - they must process first.
3. Waiting for Timer
Wait for the countdown timer to finish. Every pack has a timer based on its rarity:
- Common packs: ~1-2 minutes
- Leaf Pack: ~30 seconds
- Moon Pack: ~2-5 minutes
- Sun Pack: ~8 minutes
- High-tier/Legendary packs: 8 minutes or more
- Star Pack: ~6-7 hours
- Arch Star Pack: ~25 hours
You can use Robux to skip timers (usually 25 Robux per pack).
4. Opening & Displaying
Once the timer hits zero, click the pack to reveal your card and its specific stats (Earnings per second). The card will automatically move to your display binder to generate income.
Bulk Strategy: You can buy many packs and cover your entire floor before opening them all at once for a "huge pack opening" experience!
📖 Collection Pages
Your card binder is organized into multiple pages, each representing different elements or themes.
Earth Page
Cards from earth-themed packs
Water Page
Cards from water-themed packs
Moon Page
Cards from moon-themed packs
Sun Page
Cards from sun-themed packs
Fire Page
Cards from fire-themed packs
Star Page
Cards from star-themed packs
Arch Page
Cards from arch-themed packs
Completing pages unlocks better packs on the conveyor belt and provides progression bonuses.
🚀 Progression System
Early Game (Leaf & Water Packs)
Focus on filling your display slots and leveling up basic cards. Save for Water Packs ($3k) to get better cards.
- Buy 5-10 Leaf Packs to fill your initial slots
- Level up your basic cards to Level 3+ to stabilize income
- Focus on completing the "Leaf" and "Water" pages first
- Watch for high-value packs (like $3,000 or $4,500 packs) on the tracks
Mid Game (Moon & Sun Packs)
Once you have steady income, save for Moon Packs ($80k standard, $3.6M Shiny) and Sun Packs ($2M). These provide significant MPS boosts.
- Moon Pack costs approximately $80,000 (Standard) or $3.6 Million (Shiny)
- Sun Pack costs around $2 Million and takes 8 minutes to open
- Focus on completing collection pages to unlock better packs
- Watch for "Shiny" versions of packs on the belt - they're worth the extra cost!
Late Game (Fire & Star Packs)
Fire Packs ($48M) and Star Packs ($30B) contain the most powerful cards. Focus on completing your collection.
- Fire Pack costs $48M and takes 30 minutes to open
- Star Pack costs $30 Billion with a massive 6-hour wait time
- Target the Black Hole Goat from Star Packs - one of the game's strongest units

- Hatching takes ~25 hours (or use Robux to skip)
- Contains the ultimate card: Arch Basante Jupiter
- Final collection goal: 54/54 Brain Rots
💡 Advanced Tips
Conveyor Monitoring
Keep an eye on the pack conveyor belt. Rare variants (Gold/Rainbow) appear randomly. Buy them immediately even if they are expensive!
Base Strategy
If your luck feels "stuck," some players believe moving away from your base or visiting others' bases can refresh the pack RNG.
Pack Limit Management
Note that there is a limit to how many packs you can have on the ground at once. If you see a "Too many packs" message, open your ready cards before buying more.
Shiny Hunting
Keep buying lower-tier packs like the Leaf Pack even later in the game to hunt for their "Shiny" versions to complete your inventory.
